About us

Nau mai, Haere Mai

Welcome to The Rose Centre, where community engagement thrives and creativity knows no bounds. Whether you're starting your education journey at our Preschool, immersing yourself in the arts, or joining one of our classes, you're stepping into a space designed to incubate and support your interests within biking distance to your front door.

Our commitment to community is evident across three distinct spaces: the Preschool, Community Room, and our Theatre. Each area offers unique opportunities for connection, learning, and artistic expression.

But we don't stop there. Through our 'locals' collaboration programs, we empower makers to cultivate ideas and strengthen their practices across various forms and disciplines. It's about fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and building a vibrant, artistic and connected community

At The Rose Centre, we're more than just a venue. We're a hub for inspiration and opportunity, where everyone - from our staff to our visitors - can leave with their kete full of resources and their wellbeing nurtured.

Whether you're gathering with whānau, friends, or a special someone, our doors are open, the actors and tutors are ready and history is in the making.

Grab your whānau, your friends, or a date, and come be part of something special at The Rose Centre.
