🚐 What would you do if someone parked a van in your driveway… and stayed for 15 years?

Company Theatre returns to the Rose Centre this November with The Lady in the Van, Alan Bennett’s funny and heartfelt play based on a true story.

When the eccentric Miss Shepherd parks her van in writer Alan Bennett’s driveway, what begins as a temporary arrangement turns into something neither of them could have expected. As the years pass, an unlikely relationship develops, full of unexpected moments, sharp humour and a few surprises along the way.

Starring Susan Hargraves and Reg Williams, this much-loved play explores an extraordinary living arrangement and the curious ways people become part of one another’s lives.

We’re delighted to welcome Company Theatre back to the Rose Centre for another fantastic production. Come along, enjoy a night at the theatre and support live performance right here in our community. 💛

We look forward to seeing you at the Rose!
