Hosted here at the Rose Centre, Belmont.

The local election is just around the corner, and this is your chance to meet the North Shore candidates, hear what they stand for and ask your own questions.

Join us at the Rose Centre for an evening of conversation focused on the issues that matter to our local community - from arts and culture and accessible community spaces, to youth, local organisations, volunteering and the connections that bring people together.

🗳️ Meet the Candidates

We’ll be joined by:

Come along, listen to what each candidate has to say, and get the opportunity to put your own questions to them.

🎭 Arts, Culture & Community

As a community arts and events centre, we’re particularly interested in hearing how candidates see the role of arts, culture and community spaces in creating strong, connected neighbourhoods.

We’ll explore questions such as:

• How can we support local artists, performers and creative organisations?

• What role should arts and culture play in our communities?

• How can we make sure community spaces remain accessible and welcoming?

• What support do local community organisations need?

• How can we create more opportunities for people of all ages to participate, connect and contribute?

•

There will also be an opportunity for questions from the audience, so bring along the things you want to know.

Come along. Listen. Ask questions. Be part of the kōrero.
