THEATRE SHOWS COMING UP

Home Land

Dates: Saturday 17th through to Saturday 31st August
Location: The Rose Centre Theatre, Belmont
Tickets from $15 - $30 book here.

Step into the heart of family legacy this August on stage at the Rose Centre with "Home Land." Experience the gripping tale of Ken Taylor, whose life has been dedicated to his beloved Otago farm, but he is now an 80 year old widower who can no longer live alone. Three generations have arrived for the difficult & heartbreaking task of moving Ken from his home's strikingly beautiful surroundings into an urban rest home hundreds of kilometres away. This all-too relatable play is written by Gary Henderson & directed by Sian Davis.

This one is definitely going to hit home, I can already feel the tears coming...

The Tiny House

Dates: Monday 2nd to Tuesday 3rd September (TBC)
Location: The Rose Centre Theatre, Belmont
Tickets will be available soon

Enter the whimsical world of 'The Tiny Show,' where a playful clown and her lively troupe of toys breathe magic into classic tales, with questionable morals! Encounter a jealous witch, a lonely wolf and a very sorry piggy. Be dazzled with sassy looks and spine-tingling harmonies. This clown can sing, dance and eat pink wafers like no one else. Grab a teddy and lean in close for a tiny, intimate theatre show for the whole family to enjoy. Join us for this intimate theatre experience, welcoming both deaf and hearing audiences ages 3 and up, and discover why it won the prestigious 'Best Performer award' at the Whangarei Fringe festival 2022! Performed by Tomasin Fisher-Johnson.
